About the author

The books featured here have been written or edited by Julie Norton, author and fully qualified journalist who's worked on a wide range of publications including She Magazine and a number of trade and consumer periodicals.

She has also written and published a variety of articles, short stories and books including various accounts of her family's life in the Marylebone slums at the turn of the 20th century.

Now, after running her own marketing and design agency for 20 years, it seemed a natural step for her to begin publishing her own work.

Having learned the hard way that, for anyone without celebrity status, conventional publishing is now incredibly difficult, she has found Amazon and Kindle provide a relatively easy path to an international readership.

Julie lives in South West Wales with her husband, fellow journalist Ian Norton. She has three grown up children and five grandchildren.
